Family Session

The Zitzmans

I met Natalie and Mike while working as a teacher in a Mother's Day Out program in Baton Rouge.  I had the pleasure of having their daughter, Chloe, in my classroom.  Natalie also teaches gifted kindergarten at my own children's school.

Little Chloe was about the sweetest thing, but very shy and not happy at all about being left somewhere without her Mama.   She just about broke my heart.

It took a little while, but with a lot of cuddling and singing and, of course, bubbles, Chloe warmed up to us at school.  I was so excited when Natalie told me one morning that Chloe had been saying my name at home.  After that, Chloe was officially "my baby".  I watched her learn to walk and count and talk more and more every day that year.  She grew about as fast as her curls.

Litte brother Gabe stole my heart at our session, with his great big flirtatious smile.  Seeing him interact with big sis Chloe, and watching her take the lead was really neat.

This family is about as nice and down to earth as they come.  I look forward to every encounter with them.
